Idaho High School Basketball - Kuna thwarts Capital
February 4, 2023: Kuna, ID 83634 The Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID) basketball knocked off the visiting Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID), 69-58 in Saturday's league test.
The Kavemen (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Middleton (Middleton, ID). The Vikings go into the 5A Southern Idaho test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Middleton notched a victory over Eagle (Eagle, ID), 68-57, in a league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Owyhee for a 5A Southern Idaho test on Tuesday, February 7. Capital will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 58-33 league win over Timberline (Boise, ID). The Storm record now stands at 14-5.
