Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet West nips Cathedral

February 4, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435

Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN), 60-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Joliet West upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to play the Cougars in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-15. Plainfield South won 69-27 in their recent league bout against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Fishers Tigers (Fishers, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 73-67 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN).
