Missouri High School Basketball - Charleston over Hazelwood Central
February 4, 2023: Charleston, MO 63834 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO) and the visiting Hazelwood Central Hawks (Florissant, MO), saw Charleston's basketball squad overcome Hazelwood Central by a tally of 79-71.
With the victory, Charleston improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Jackson (Jackson, MO) to confront the Fighting Indians in a Southeast Missouri challenge on Monday, February 6. The Fighting Indians come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Jackson won 63-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Oakville (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Jennings Warriors (Jennings, MO) in a Suburban - Yellow challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Hazelwood Central will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO).
