New Jersey High School Basketball - Washington Township nipped by Cherry Hill West
February 4, 2023: Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 The Cherry Hill West Lions held off the visiting Washington Township Minutemen basketball team by a tally of 53-52 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Lions now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. Cherry Hill West will battle a Silver Knights team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Winslow Township (Atco, NJ). The Silver Knights record now stands at 16-5.
The Minutemen (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Kingsway was nudged by Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ), 40-31, in a league battle.
