Iowa High School Basketball - Washington tops Clear Creek-Amana
February 4, 2023: Cedar Rapids, IA 52403 Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA), 59-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 15-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Williamsburg won 70-42 in their recent league bout against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA)
Next up, the Clippers play the Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA) in a WAMAC - West bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Clear Creek-Amana will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 77-50 non-league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA).
