February 4, 2023: Sparta, NJ 07871 The Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), 58-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (10-6) will now prepare for their test against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack go into the non-league test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, West Morris Central thwarted Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ), 78-76, in a non-league test.
The Terriers now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Delaware Valley will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 8-10.
