Ohio High School Basketball - Fort Frye can't hold off Morgan
February 4, 2023: Beverly, OH 45715 The Morgan Raiders basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Fort Frye Cadets to 42 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Lexington for a Muskingum Valley contest on Tuesday, February 7. Morgan will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-32 league win over Coshocton (Coshocton, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 17-3.
The Cadets (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH). The Zeps enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Shenandoah was nudged by Shadyside (Shadyside, OH), 68-61, in a league contest.
