February 4, 2023: Hamburg, PA 19526 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pine Grove Cardinals (Pine Grove, PA) and the host Hamburg Hawks (Hamburg, PA), saw Pine Grove's basketball squad overcome Hamburg by a tally of 52-41.
With the victory, Pine Grove improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA) to confront the Olympians in a Schuylkill County 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Olympians come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Jim Thorpe lost 56-33 in their recent league challenge against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA) in a Berks County 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Hamburg will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record.
