California High School Basketball - Hoover can't hold off Otay Ranch
February 4, 2023: San Diego, CA 92115 The Otay Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Hoover Cardinals to 67 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastlake for a Mesa match on Friday, February 10.
With the defeat, Hoover moves to 13-13 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA) to meet the Buccaneers in a Western match on Tuesday, February 7. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 19-7. Mission Bay won 44-35 in their recent non-league match against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)
