South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary trounces Mitchell Christian
February 4, 2023: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 The St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles (Mitchell, SD), 81-56 in Saturday's league test.
The Cardinals (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Arlington was trounced by Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD), 65-34, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Sunshine Bible Academy for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Mitchell Christian will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 61-27 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-14.
