Virginia High School Basketball - Northside nips Radford
February 4, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24019 Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 50-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Eagles in a Blue Ridge bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Franklin County lost 65-53 in their recent league bout against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a Three Rivers bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Radford will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 50-41 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA).
