New York High School Basketball - Northville can't hold off Rensselaer
February 4, 2023: Northville, NY 12134 The Rensselaer Rams basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Northville Falcons to 45 in the Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rams now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maple Hill for a Section 2 Patroon contest on Tuesday, February 7. Rensselaer will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 56-41 league loss to Watervliet (Watervliet, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-8.
The Falcons (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Schoharie (Schoharie, NY). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Schoharie was nudged by Duanesburg (Delanson, NY), 63-34, in a non-league contest.
