South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion topples Redfield
February 4, 2023: Redfield, SD 57469 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) basketball squad beat the host Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), by a margin of 51-33.
The Tanagers (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers go into the A Region 4 outing with a 14-0 record. In their last outing, Dakota Valley defeated Western Christian (Hull, IA), 71-56, in a non-league outing.
The Pheasants now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Warner for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Redfield will clash with a Monarchs squad coming off a 50-39 league win over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-6.
