Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), 76-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Beavers host South (Willoughby, OH) to clash with the Rebels in a Western Reserve bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-12. South lost 62-48 in their recent league bout against Chardon (Chardon, OH)

Next up, the Preppers clash with the Norwayne Bobcats (Creston, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. University School will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
