Delaware High School Basketball - Sanford nudges Salesianum
February 4, 2023: Hockessin, DE 19707 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) basketball squad edged the visiting Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE), by a margin of 49-47.
The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers go into the Independent Schools outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Wilmington Friends held off MOT Charter (Middletown, DE), 75-60, in a non-league outing.
The Sallies now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Caravel for a Freelance outing on Tuesday, February 7. Salesianum will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 58-49 non-league win over William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 11-4.
