Ohio High School Basketball - Stebbins nudges Shawnee
February 4, 2023: Springfield, OH 45502 Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 53-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stebbins upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Troy (Troy, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Troy won 46-39 in their recent league bout against Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH)
Next up, the Braves clash with the Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail bout, on Friday, February 10. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 66-52 league win over Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH).
