South Dakota High School Basketball - Wessington Springs nips Tripp-Delmont/Armour
February 4, 2023: Wessington Springs, SD 57382 Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD), 57-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Wessington Springs upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD) to play the Warbirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Warbirds go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Wolsey-Wessington won 47-30 in their recent non-league bout against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
Next up, the Nighthawks play the Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Tripp-Delmont/Armour will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 70-47 non-league win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD).
