February 4, 2023: Williamsport, OH 43164 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wellston Golden Rockets (Wellston, OH), by a count of 64-36.
The Mustangs (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Shermans go into the Scioto Valley outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Unioto smashed Logan (Logan, OH), 59-31, in a non-league outing.
The Golden Rockets now hold a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Athens for a Tri-Valley I outing on Tuesday, February 7. Wellston will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-37 league loss to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-13.
