Colorado High School Basketball - Cherokee Trail overwhelms Overland
February 4, 2023: Aurora, CO 80016 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), saw Cherokee Trail's basketball squad wallop Overland by a tally of 75-33.
With the victory, Cherokee Trail improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to play the Bruins in a challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 13-0. Cherry Creek won 72-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO)
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Overland will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 73-31 non-league loss to Heritage (Littleton, CO).
