February 4, 2023: Bryan, TX 77802 The O'Connell Buccaneers basketball team (Galveston, TX), was overwhelmed 50-8 in Saturday's league battle with the host Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX)
The Rams now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Catholic for a TAPPS 2A District 6 battle on Monday, February 6. Allen Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 31-22 league loss to Allen Academy (Bryan, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 14-9.
The Buccaneers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Warriors come into the TAPPS 2A District 6 battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, Legacy Christian Academy trounced Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX), 41-26, in a league battle.
