Minnesota High School Basketball - Benson ripped by Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City
February 4, 2023: Benson, MN 56215 The Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Benson to 33 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 8-8.
The (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Lakers enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Minnewaska Area triumphed over Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
