Wisconsin High School Basketball - McFarland nips Edgewood
February 4, 2023: Madison, WI 53711 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) and the host Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI), saw McFarland's basketball squad hold off Edgewood by a count of 50-46.
With the victory, McFarland upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Turner (Beloit, WI) to play the Trojans in a Rock Valley challenge on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-13.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI) in a Badger - West challenge, on Monday, February 6. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 54-38 league loss to Edgewood (Madison, WI).
