South Dakota High School Basketball - Hill City tops Hot Springs
February 4, 2023: Hot Springs, SD 57747 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) and the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), saw Hill City's basketball squad knock off Hot Springs by a tally of 31-13.
With the victory, Hill City improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Douglas (Box Elder, SD) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Douglas lost 59-27 in their recent league challenge against Brookings (Brookings, SD)
Next up, the Bison play the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Scoopers come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 52-25 league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
