Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeside overwhelms Towers
February 4, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30345 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Towers Titans (Decatur, GA), saw Lakeside's basketball squad wallop Towers by a tally of 63-26.
With the victory, Lakeside improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. North Atlanta won 49-40 in their recent league challenge against Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) in a AA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Towers will attempt to improve on its 3-21 season record. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 33-32 league loss to Redan (Stone Mountain, GA).
