South Dakota High School Basketball - North Central crushes Lower Brule

February 4, 2023: Lower Brule, SD 57548

North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), 66-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Thunder host Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Sioux play the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Lower Brule will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 57-51 non-league loss to Bennett County (Martin, SD).
