South Dakota High School Basketball - Marshall nips Roosevelt
February 4, 2023: Sioux Falls, SD 57106 Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD), 58-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Alexandria (Alexandria, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Alexandria lost 76-52 in their recent non-league bout against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
Next up, the Rough Riders play the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) in a AA bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 59-27 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
