February 4, 2023: Sartell, MN 56377 Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) fans left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Virginia Blue Devils (Virginia, MN), 1-0 in a non-league match.
The Sabres (7-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Tigers enter the Central Lakes match with a 0-2 record.
Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. Virginia will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Rails enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, MN).
