February 4, 2025: Alpena, MI 49707 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) and the visiting Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), observed Alpena's basketball team overwhelm Tawas Area by a score of 89-54.
The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI). The Titans come into the Big North challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Traverse City West trounced Ludington (Ludington, MI), 68-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 4. Tawas Area will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Hurons go into the game with a 10-5 record after their 65-59 non-league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI).
