February 4, 2025: Bellefontaine, OH 43311 Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Benjamin Logan Raiders (Bellefontaine, OH), 51-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Elgin upgrades its record to 5-14 on the year. The Comets travel to Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to face the Rams in a Northwest Central match on Friday, February 7. The Rams enter the match with a record of 10-8. Upper Scioto Valley won 54-42 in their recent non-league match against Arcadia (Arcadia, OH)
The Raiders now sport a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Lake for a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River match on Friday, February 7. Benjamin Logan will face a Lakers squad coming off a 61-56 non-league win over London (London, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 12-6.
