Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Centre overwhelms Benson
February 4, 2025: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Benson to 31 in the Mainstreeters non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mainstreeters now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Montevideo for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Sauk Centre will play a Thunderhawks team coming off a 75-62 non-league win over B O L D (Olivia, MN). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Benson falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The travel to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-19. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart lost 91-38 in their recent league game against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
