Colorado High School Basketball - Buena Vista holds off Lake County

The Buena Vista Demons basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Lake County Panthers to 54 in the Demons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Demons now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ellicott for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks game on Friday, February 7. Buena Vista will confront a Thunderhawks team coming off a 67-32 league loss to Rye (Rye, CO). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Lake County falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sheridan (Denver, CO) to confront the Rams in a 4A/3A/2A Frontier game on Thursday, February 6. The Rams go into the game with a record of 3-13. Sheridan lost 78-50 in their recent league game against Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO)
