February 4, 2025: Canton, OH 44707 The Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH) basketball were winner over the host Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH), 47-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Carrollton for a Eastern Buckeye bout on Friday, February 7. Minerva will play a Warriors team coming off a 64-39 non-league win over Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Canton South falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Orrville (Orrville, OH) to play the Red Riders in a Principals bout on Friday, February 7.
