February 4, 2025: Ellsinore, MO 63937 Puxico Indians (Puxico, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host East Carter Redbirds (Ellsinore, MO), 65-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Puxico advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, MO) to face the Wildcats in a Stoddard County match on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-11. Bloomfield lost 64-44 in their recent league match against Bell City (Bell City, MO)
The Redbirds now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Doniphan for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. East Carter will face a Dons squad coming off a 58-49 league win over Neelyville (Neelyville, MO). The Dons record now stands at 10-8.
