February 4, 2025: Eugene, MO 65032 Eugene Eagles (Eugene, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting South Callaway Bulldogs (Mokane, MO), 71-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Eugene advances its record to 17-3 on the year. The Eagles host Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO) to face the Jays in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Jays enter the match with a record of 14-4. Jefferson City won 51-49 in their recent league match against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO)
The Bulldogs now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russellville for a Central State 8 match on Friday, February 7. South Callaway will face a Indians squad coming off a 83-72 non-league loss to Prairie Home (Prairie Home, MO). The Indians record now stands at 11-6.
