In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Family Christian Flames basketball team scored a good 65-55 triumph over the Northlake Christian Wolverines.

The Flames (31-11) will now prepare for their contest against West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) in a 2A District 9 contest, on Friday, February 7.
