Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Augustine nips John Curtis Christian
February 4, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70119 In Tuesday's league contest, the host St. Augustine Purple Knights basketball team scored a close 47-44 win over the John Curtis Christian Patriots.
The Purple Knights (22-3) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers come into the 5A District 9 contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Holy Cross edged Jesuit (New Orleans, LA), 59-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. John Curtis Christian will attempt to better on its 31-9 season record.
