Ohio High School Basketball - McClain nips Piketon

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting McClain Tigers basketball team scored a close 54-49 triumph over the Piketon Redstreaks.

The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Cavaliers go into the Frontier contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Chillicothe was tipped by Central Crossing (Grove City, OH), 44-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Redstreaks battle the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley contest, on Friday, February 7. Piketon will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Shermans go into the contest with a 16-3 record after their 64-40 league win over Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH).
