New Jersey High School Basketball - Morristown nips Mountain Lakes
February 4, 2025: Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Morristown Colonials basketball team scored a close 52-51 win over the Mountain Lakes Lakers.
The Colonials (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham (Chatham, NJ). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Chatham edged Vernon (Vernon, NJ), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest, on Saturday, February 8. Mountain Lakes will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Golden Panthers come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 60-49 league loss to Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ).
