Connecticut High School Basketball - Pomperaug victorious over New Milford
February 4, 2025: Southbury, CT 06488 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pomperaug Panthers basketball team scored a good 69-54 triumph over the New Milford Green Wave.
The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Masuk was toppled by Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 97-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Green Wave confront the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a Southwest contest, on Tuesday, February 11. New Milford will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 79-75 non-league loss to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT).
