New Jersey High School Basketball - Saddle River Day can't hold off St. Joseph
February 4, 2025: Saddle River, NJ 07458 St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Saddle River Day Rebels (Saddle River, NJ), 60-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 3-10 on the year. The Falcons host St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ) to face the Gray Bees in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Gray Bees enter the match with a record of 8-10. St. Benedict's Prep won 65-44 in their recent non-league match against Chester (Chester, PA)
The Rebels now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. Saddle River Day will face a Tigers squad coming off a 46-41 league win over Union (Union, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 9-9.
