February 4, 2025: West Monroe, LA 71291 The West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) basketball crushed the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA), 77-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pineville for a 5A District 2 bout on Friday, February 7. West Monroe will play a Rebels team coming off a 29-22 non-league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 7-20.
With the loss, West Ouachita falls to 18-13 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Peabody (Alexandria, LA) to play the Warhorses in a 4A District 2 bout on Friday, February 7. The Warhorses go into the bout with a record of 25-5. Peabody lost 62-61 in their recent non-league bout against Wossman (Monroe, LA)
