Louisiana High School Basketball - Peabody knocks off Avoyelles Charter
February 4, 2025: Mansura, LA 71350 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) and the host Avoyelles Charter Vikings (Mansura, LA), observed Peabody's basketball team overcome Avoyelles Charter by a margin of 47-27.
The Warhorses (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Patriots come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Franklin Parish defeated Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 56-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Oak Hill Rams (Hineston, LA) in a B District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Avoyelles Charter will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 25-10 record after their 54-47 non-league win over Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA).
