The Bridgeport Bearcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers to 45 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Alma for a Tri-Valley - East game on Friday, February 7. Bridgeport will confront a Panthers team coming off a 53-38 non-league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Nouvel Catholic Central falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, MI) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, February 7.
