February 4, 2025: Maurice, LA 70555 North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA), 44-11 in a league match.
With the victory, North Vermilion upgrades its record to 22-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA) to face the Rebels in a 4A District 4 match on Friday, February 7. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 16-9. Teurlings Catholic lost 54-52 in their recent league match against Rayne (Rayne, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westgate for a 4A District 4 match on Friday, February 7. David Thibodaux will face a Tigers squad coming off a 54-25 league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-14.
