February 4, 2025: Buxton, ND 58218 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) and the host Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), observed Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg's basketball team knock off Hillsboro/Central Valley by a score of 43-29.
The Patriots (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] (Leeds, ND). The Wildcats come into the B District 4 challenge with a 18-0 record. In their last challenge, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] prevailed over Sargent County (Milnor, ND), 60-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the H-CV Burros encounter the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, February 7.
