New Hampshire High School Basketball - Hillsboro-Deering holds off Mascoma
February 4, 2025: Canaan, NH 03741 The Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Mascoma Royals to 35 in the Hillcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hillcats now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Newport for a Division III game on Wednesday, February 5. Hillsboro-Deering will confront a Tigers team coming off a 47-41 league win over Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Tigers record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Mascoma falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Royals travel to White Mountains (Whitefield, NH) to confront the Spartans in a Division III game on Friday, February 7. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 9-5. White Mountains won 44-33 in their recent league game against Berlin (Berlin, NH)
