February 4, 2025: Hillsboro, KS 67063 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) and the visiting Larned Indians (Larned, KS), observed Hillsboro's basketball team knock off Larned by a score of 28-16.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Halstead (Halstead, KS). The Dragons come into the Central Kansas challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Halstead was knocked off by Hesston (Hesston, KS), 41-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians encounter the Hesston Swathers (Hesston, KS) in a Central Kansas challenge, on Friday, February 7. Larned will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Swathers come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 41-23 league win over Halstead (Halstead, KS).
