February 4, 2025: Wildwood, MO 63011 Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO), 64-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Marquette upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Fatima (Westphalia, MO) to face the Comets in a Freelance match on Friday, February 7. The Comets enter the match with a record of 12-7. Fatima lost 53-47 in their recent non-league match against California (California, MO)
The Lancers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ladue Horton Watkins for a Freelance match on Thursday, February 6. Lafayette will face a Rams squad coming off a 39-31 non-league loss to St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Rams record now stands at 5-9.
