The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball squad (Grant, NE), lost 51-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE)

With the victory, Maxwell advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Wallace (Wallace, NE) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 5-13. Wallace lost 48-34 in their recent non-league battle against Brady (Brady, NE)

The Plainsmen now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Perkins County will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 18-1.
