The Paramus Spartans basketball squad (Paramus, NJ), lost 40-23 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ)

With the victory, West Milford advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ) to meet the Lancers in a Northwest Jersey - Independence battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Lancers enter the battle with a record of 6-2.

The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cliffside Park for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. Paramus will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 45-28 league loss to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.
